"Choke" is a song by Poppy. It served as the third single and title track from her second extended play Choke and is the first track on the EP. It premiered exclusively on BBC Radio 1's Rock Show on June 16th, 2019, and was later released worldwide on June 19th, 2019. The audio visual currently has over 1 million views on YouTube.

"Choke" was officially announced in an interview with BUILD Series, with Poppy stating that it would be accompanied by a "visual".[1]

Audio Visual[]
The song was released alongside an audio video in which Poppy sings the lyrics while standing motionless in front of a dark backdrop, which is the same backdrop that appears in her 2019 YouTube videos. Throughout the video, her skin gradually turns blue and her eyes glow yellow. Various digital images appear during the song's final chorus and obscure Poppy's face. The video ends on the triangular Poppy logo.
