Chris Greatti (born Christopher Dean Greatti) is an American singer-songwriter, producer and guitarist who is one of Poppy's closest friends. He is best known for his works with Yungblud, Willow, Blink-182, Pussy Riot and Poppy.

Relationship with Poppy

Greatti is close friends with Poppy and has helped co-write and co-produce many of her songs. He performed the guitar solos on "Don't Go Outside", "Hard Feelings" and "Moshi Moshi", and played guitar on the acoustic versions of "Everybody Wants to Be Poppy" and "Lowlife". Greatti also frequently sings backing vocals on several of Poppy's songs, such as "Concrete", "Immature Couture", "Scary Mask" and "X". In Poppy's videos, Greatti has appeared as the Purple Person, one of the bodysuit dancers. He also appeared in the music video for "X" as a member of Poppy's backing band.

Poppy's album I Disagree marked the first Poppy album in which Greatti co-wrote and co-produced every track. He also revealed in an Instagram post that he played all of the guitar, bass and keyboard parts on the album, as well as sang backing vocals on most songs.

He was the lead singer of the band Basic Vacation from 2012 to 2015. After the band broke up in 2015, he began writing songs for Poppy. Currently, Greatti is the lead singer of the band Blame Candy, who have collaborated with Titanic Sinclair.
