Eligos is a character in Poppy's Inferno.
History[]
As with most demons, Eligos' origin is unknown. It is known that at some point she won the position of the Duchess of Hell, which meant she could torture the damned souls. She was also undefeated and worshipped by warriors throughout her life, until she was beat by Poppy, in which the damned souls attacked her. However, she was later seen in Hell's Court unwounded except for some bandages over the side of her face.
Physical Appearance[]
Eligos has blue skin and wings, all-black eyes with small white dots in the middle, and navy blue hair. She is shown to wear a gold headdress with fire flowing from it as well as gold armor with red accents. After her fight with Poppy, her wings are severed, and she has a bandage over the side of her face.
Personality[]
As Eligos is seen very little in the book, it can only be deduced that, as Lucifer in imp form says, she is very "highfalutin". She is shown to not enjoy torturing people, believing instead it is a mandatory task that must be done, and she takes no joy from her presumed kill of Poppy. She uses a wide variety of uncommon words in comparison to the other characters, and is slightly vain as she does not anticipate being defeated by Poppy, although she does not complain when she is bested.
