Empty Hands is the seventh studio album by Poppy. It was released on January 23rd, 2026.

Background and Conception[]

During the second leg of Poppy's They're All Around Us Tour, she had written letters for each date performed live and posted them on an account named @poppytaskforce[1][2]; on a letter published on October 1st, 2025, Poppy revealed she was picked up after the performance to tend to a special project, teasing the album's imminent arriving.[3] On January 16th, 2026, the "Empty Hands Hotline" was revealed, each day a new segment from a song was revealed when called, the number was revealed through @poppytaskforce.[4]

Reception[]

The album debuted at #137 on the Billboard 200 on the week of February 7th, 2026. [5]

"Unravel" was released to digital retailers through Sumerian Records on October 23rd, 2025, and served as the lead single to the album. Poppy co-wrote the song with Jordan Fish, and it was produced by Fish.

"Bruised Sky" was released to digital retailers through Sumerian Records on November 12th, 2025, and served as the second single to the album. Poppy co-wrote the song with Jordan Fish and Stephen Harrison, and it was produced by Fish.

"Guardian" was released to digital retailers through Sumerian Records on December 4th, 2025, and served as the third single to the album. Poppy co-wrote the song with Jordan Fish, Stephen Harrison and Julian Gargiulo, and it was produced by Fish.
