On September 14th, 2018 at Westward Music Festival, the song was performed live as a surprise song on the tracklist.
During Poppy's show at Botanique/Rotonde on September 23rd, 2018, she confirmed that the song would be officially released on Friday, September 28th; however, this release did not materialize. The following day of the cancelled release date, she posted a 10-second snippet of the song on her Instagram story. The release of the song was pushed back to October 12th, 2018.
On June 25th, 2019 a remix made by Titanic Sinclair under the name of Charlotte was released onto Charlotte's SoundCloud account, the remix is still available on the account.[1]
