Genesis 1 (subtitled A Poppy Graphic Novel) is a graphic novel written by Poppy, Titanic Sinclair and Ryan Cady. It was made available for pre-ordering on January 8th, 2019 and will be published on July 23rd, 2019. There will also be a deluxe edition of the graphic novel limited to 500 copies, which will be in an oversized 9x15 hardcover slipcase that comes with an exclusive print and vinyl. This deluxe edition will also be signed by Poppy.
The graphic novel will be bundled with an ambient album titled "I C U: Music To Read To", which serves as the soundtrack to the novel.

Theme
Poppy had previously stated in an interview with NME that she was writing a novel, commenting that "it's going to be good". Later in 2018, she revealed in the Poppy.Church Atrium that the book would be about herself. The book is being promoted as an "origin story" for Poppy.
Trivia
- The title of the graphic novel, "Genesis 1", is a reference to the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Hebrew Bible. Similarly, her previous book, The Gospel Of Poppy, was a parody of the Bible.
