"Gotta Catch 'Em All" is a song originally by Jason Paige for the English dub of Pokémon that Poppy covered. It was released on May 6th, 2020.
Background[]
On May 5th, 2020, Titanic Sinclair had leaked the cover on 4chan. Likely to counteract the leak, Poppy released the song officially a day later. In a statement Poppy released following the song, she stated that she chose not to release the cover for "personal" reasons and that Sinclair had taken the choice to release it from her.[2]
Lyrics[]
[Intro]
Pokémon, gotta catch 'em all
[Verse]
I want to be the very best
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause
I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Teach Pokémon to understand
The power that's inside
[Chorus]
(Pokémon, gotta catch 'em all)
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
(Pokémon)
Oh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
(Pokémon, gotta catch 'em all)
A heart so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Pokémon
(Gotta catch 'em all)
Gotta catch 'em all

- The song was produced in Pro Tools.
- Poppy's Pokémon card in the audio video contains many Easter eggs:
- Pi makes a cameo as Poppy's stage 1 evolution.
- Poppy's abilities are named "BLOODMONEY Bath" and "Concrete Scream", which are references to her songs "Bloodmoney" and "Concrete", respectively.
- The card collection number is 666, referring to the number of the beast in Christian mythology.
- Poppy's weight is listed as 33.6 pounds. This refers to 3:36, a recurring number in the Poppy lore.
- The flavor text reads as "Only one Poppy exists. It emits a blood crimson light from hollow pit eyes staring directly through your bullshit." This is likely a jab at Sinclair for originally leaking the song.
- The "illustrator" is credited as "G. Nicholson", which is likely a credit to her friend Garrett Nicholson for the video of her that appears on the card.
