The Journalist is a character in Poppy's Inferno.
History[]
The Journalist once was an alternative country singer who worked with Impresario and ended up exposing his manipulations, but was not able to tell other people about it and ended up being forced to do his bidding, becoming a journalist to spread fake rumors on his new pop stars and being blackmailed until Poppy exposed him.
Physical Appearance[]
The Journalist has pale skin, deep brown eyes that are large and round framed black glasses, and long red hair. During her days as a country artist, her hair was shown to be much shorter. She has a large mole on her left cheek.
Personality[]
The Journalist initially appears to be a bratty reporter who goes for the jugular when it comes to finding drama about artists, but it is later shown that this is only a public persona. In reality, she is traumatized by the Impresario’s manipulation of her, becoming scared he will hurt her often and deeply regretting her involvement with him. She secretly tries to help Impresario’s new artists, however, for example Poppy, from not making the same choices she made.
