Mad Decent is a Philadelphia via Los Angeles-based American record label spearheaded by American DJ, Diplo.
Background[]
Poppy signed to the label in early 2017 and became one of their most-promoted artists. In July 2019, Poppy left the label, stating in an interview with NME that it "wasn't really a functioning label" and "was more of a tax write-off".[1] Her current label is Sumerian Records.
On October 26th, 2020, Poppy mocked the label by directly mentioning it on a tweet, on the tweet Poppy said:
"I'm so glad I'm not signed to Mad Decent anymore. A bunch of fuck boys under one roof."[2]
