Hey y'all, I'm sure most of you may not know who I am, so I'll start with a brief introduction. I'm Cherrybombed, you can just call me Cherry or use my real name, Cassie. I was promoted back in 2018 because the staff at the time needed someone to help them with coding. I had been flippy floppy in terms of activity since then, mostly reappearing when I noticed something code-wise was broken or if my help was specifically requested. Honestly, I have been thinking about this decision for a while, though after giving it some thought I decided it would be best if I stepped down from this wiki. There are a few different reasons why I'm doing this, but for the sake of keeping this from getting too long I'll keep this as short and sweet as possible.
The first reason is simply my inactivity, as I'm sure some of you probably figured. I haven't made a real edit other than just "I change my username colors or update my avatar on the staff page" in a while. I could just try to be more active knowing this, maybe even clean up some of the actual pages. However, I am currently absorbed in too many projects that this is just not possible for me. I honestly even probably only check Fandom once every two weeks, maybe not even.
Another reason is I'm just not too involved with the community here. That is entirely my fault though; I never tried. It's just hard to do your "job" when you feel like you're this outsider who just checks in every now and then. I also want to note that none of the staff or users are responsible for how I feel. This is something that is entirely on me.
Another thing is that I kind of just don't need to be here as the "coder" anymore. There are two other staff members that know just as much as I do when it comes to code and I have not been sought out in a long while to help them with anything. This coupled with the inactivity again, my time is up on this wiki. There's nothing I feel I can do for it that someone else couldn't do.
The last reason is just a general thing and the reason I've been leaving a lot of wikis honestly. For those of you who don't know, I've been using this website since 2014, back when it was called Wikia and had a totally different look. I honestly just don't like a lot of the changes they've made to the site since, I think it's hard to navigate and a lot of it just looks messy and bad. Frequenting this website like I used to is something I can't do anymore and I think I need to just finally leave this part of my life in the past and move on to bigger and better things.
I will still stop by every now and then and I will not be unavailable if anyone needs anything from me.
